Comedy Night 1 was the first stand-up event York Theatre Royal has run and we need your help and feedback to help us make our comedy nights even better… So…Tell us what you thought?
Did you have a good time?
Did you enjoy the acts?
Did the ticket price represent value for money?
Did you use the bar, and if so was the service good?
What about the price of the beer?

Would have preferred one not two intervals and earlier start time but otherwise terrific evening and will go to next one – good venue, good audience, good acts
Great night but the intervals were too long.
Superb value for money, particularly at your discounted student rate. Marcus Birdman (warmup act) hilarious, by far the funniest comedian of the evening. Bar very busy but pubs close to theatre sorted that one out! Great venue a pleasure to visit as always.
Birdman was brilliant and should have been on for a longer sesion in his own right. Other acts, good but not cutting-edge enough for me. Set an age limit and make it a little more adult.
I agree with the ‘interval’ comments and slightly earlier start, but in all a great alternative for the theatre and I hope it becomes a regular event, with quality acts as clearly it is popular format. We will certainly come again if the acts are good enough.
